Paul Bettner is an entrepreneur, producer, founder, and CEO of Playful Studios founded on November 2012. He currently resides in McKinney, Texas, with his wife, Katy Bettner, and three children.[1]

Before Playful, him and his brother, David Bettner, founded Zynga with Friends (formerly and initially Newtoy, Inc.) to create Words with Friends, a multi-player crossword puzzle game for the iPhone and iPod touch. Newtoy was then acquired by Zynga for 53.3 million in November 2010, and was renamed to Newtoy to Zynga with Friends a month later after the acquisition.[2] In October 2012, Paul and David left the company as the stock price plummeted.
