The Lucky's Tale Wiki (formerly known as Luckypedia) is a community-driven wiki encyclopedia about the Lucky's Tale franchise created and developed by Playful Studios since 2014. The Lucky's Tale Wiki is hosted on Fandom (formerly Wikia), a free web-hosting for wikis using a modified and updated version of MediaWiki, a free and open-source PHP wiki software which also powers Wikipedia and other wikis that uses this software.
Its purpose is to provide detailed, sufficient, and archive information and document significant coverage about its characters, worlds, and the crew behind the inner workings of the franchise, including game guides. Its first article was Super Lucky's Tale.
Wiki history
2019-2020
- The wiki was launched on January 11, 2019 by former and initial founder Bowser201, and was later adopted by Kokoro Husky on December 8, 2020 for almost a year due to lacking content and dormant activity on the wiki.
2021
- The wiki software migrated from Legacy to UCP in January 19, 2021.
- Sometime on March to April 2021, the wiki is locked for registered users due to wiki's main target demographic, making anon edits by unregistered users not possible.
- While DiscordIntegerator was set up as early as February 2021 for testing on a new Luckypedia Discord server, the request for permanent embed of the official Discord server was approved on May 2, 2021 by one of the Discord staff, Snazzy.
- Migration from FandomDesktop begins on June 2nd; transferring code from Wikia.css with a few minor adjustments and additional code from Fandomdesktop.css. The request for FandomDesktop rollout was requested on July 14th.
- The wiki was renamed from "Luckypedia" to "Lucky's Tale Wiki" on September 17, 2021.
